it's going to be challenging to have this story stretched out over a whole series. On the one hand I was glad that it wasn't over just yet. The one thing that did bother me is that a few chapters before the end it seemed as if everything had been resolved and then all of a sudden it hadn't. The book has just the right amount of suspense and intrigue to not become completely superficial with its heavy focus on clothing brands and fancy parties and will most certainly leave you guessing until the very end (and after, as once more it's part of a series of books so it'll take a while before we will really find out who killed Ali Sutton). There's even another group of four friends central in this one, just like in Shepard's previous series. It has a very similar premise to the PLL books where a pretty rich girl is murdered and all the pretty rich kids wear fabulous clothes and are suspects to the murder. If you love the Pretty Little Liars series (books or show) you're going to enjoy this new novel by Sara Shepard as well.
